What better way to shape a sustainable future and discuss possible scenario’s than by bringing together people from different countries, different cultures, different industries, different backgrounds, basically different worlds! That’s exactly what we did at the Ecoislas Foro Internacional in Gran Canaria, Las Palmas together with amongst others the Cluster MarÃtimo de Canarias.
EcoÃslas invited us to share how we are rethinking the maritime future and asked us to mobilise the different stakeholders present at the EcoÃslas Foro Internacional.
EcoÃslas is all about the transition towards a greener, more profitable, more self-sufficient and environmentally sustainable socioeconomic model, with an insular approach. The focus of our workshop was to navigate the (maritime) future together. We did this by sharing insights, trends & developments, the challenges our industry is currently facing and how we are reframing those into opportunities through smart collaboration, turning a linear into a circular approach and leveraging technological developments.
During our interactive and dynamic workshop we harvested the collective intelligence in the room by giving everyone a voice and made sure all attendees smartly collaborated. This really brought new perspectives, new collaborations, new solutions and new pathways for a sustainable (maritime) future Gran Canaria. We also made sure that all attendees heard each other’s views and had fun along the way!
We really look forward to the next steps with the Cluster MarÃtimo de Canaria.
