‘Powering Progress – Powering you to transition’
The Shell Senior Women Event 2022 aimed to empower their top 10% female leaders. Enabling them to support Shell’s Powering Progress strategy, using their female superpowers and leadership style. Our challenge? Setting the tone! We addressed these 200 senior women with an inspiring, daring and action orientated keynote and interactive discussion. As the status quo will likely not get us to where we need to be, we were happy to accept!
Sharing our own personal journeys and drive to contribute to a sustainable maritime future, the latest maritime innovations from our daily practice and the leadership styles required to overcome challenges – we highlighted the crucial role of women in the transition. We stressed the importance of D&EI and finding (male) allies to break through the decarbonization deadlock. Leveraging on our role models and their superpowers we challenged the room to find their own superpowers and define which progress YOU will power!
The best thing besides addressing this room full of inspirational women? Igniting several follow-up conversations: to be continued!

For the Senior Women Event 2022 Shell asked us to share our external perspective, shedding a light on the transition to a sustainable maritime future, inspiring women on their (crucial!) role in the energy transition and bring in fresh ideas on how to shape the program.
