Keynote & discussion with the African and Spanish Port Women Community

Bringing worlds together for the Fundación Puertos de Las Palmas, Interreg Europe and the European Union, amongst others!

What an incredible energy from this room full of powerful women at the ‘X Jornadas de Mujeres Portuarias Conference’. It was a true privilege to discuss women empowerment with the African and Spanish Port Women Community at Casa África, zooming in to what a #sustainablemaritimefuture needs. The resilience, dedication, passion and the connecting power on multiple levels (these) women bring to the table is indispensable for realizing the innovations ánd collaborations we need!

Aside from that we explored a cross-cultural collaboration to accelerate the #energytransition with the ‘Cluster Marítimo de Canarias’ and the ‘Federación Canaria de Empresas Portuarias’ leveraging the Gran Canaria port area for offshore wind pilots at Plataforma Oceánica de Canarias (PLOCAN).
