Finding the next groundbreaking innovations with the Boskalis WaveJump Innovation Challenge 2023
Together with Boskalis, we worked on successfully establishing their internal innovation program the ‘WaveJump Innovation Challenge 2023’, in which we looked for innovations with business value. Our approach focused on involving and inspiring the entire organization and employees. After all, all innovations start with the people. They not only have the ideas, but they also perceive matters that can be done differently or better. And it’s the people that bring innovations further.
We collected about 100 new ideas from all corners of the organization. With close involvement of stakeholders at all levels a top 10 was selected that has been further developed by the innovation team into concrete innovations, improvements or solutions to be further validated. Participants and innovation were put ‘in the picture’ throughout the organisation.
On to the next WaveJump Innovation Challenge because many more ‘waves’ are needed!
